Fence styles we build
Choose a fence style based on function (privacy, security, pets, pool safety, livestock) and Louisiana conditions (soil, drainage, wind, and corrosion).

Chain link fences
Great for pets, visibility, and value. We can add privacy slats, windscreen, and stronger terminal posts for Louisiana storms.

Wood fences
Privacy and curb appeal with options like cedar, dog-eared, board-on-board, and post-and-rail—built with proper drainage and fasteners for humidity.

Vinyl fences
Low-maintenance fencing that resists rot and insects. Ideal for clean lines and easy wash-down after pollen, mud, and storms.

Ornamental fences
Elegant security for homes and businesses. We recommend finishes and hardware that hold up to Louisiana moisture and coastal air.

Aluminum, iron & metal
Strong perimeter control for commercial sites and high-traffic areas. Options include picket, welded panels, and security upgrades.

Barb wire fences
Practical farm fencing for large runs. We build with proper bracing and corner assemblies for long-term tension.

Louisiana details
Built for Louisiana soil, storms, and humidity
Louisiana fences fail early when posts shift, hardware corrodes, or wood stays wet. We plan for your property’s drainage, soil, and wind exposure so your fence line stays straight and your gates keep swinging true.
- Wet soil & drainage: we set posts for stability and keep wood pickets off the ground to reduce rot.
- High humidity: we use exterior-rated fasteners and proven construction details that handle seasonal movement.
- Storm wind loads: we reinforce corners/ends and recommend layouts that reduce sail effect on long runs.
- Coastal corrosion: we suggest galvanized/powder-coated options and hardware that holds up near salt air.

Fence gates that stay square
Gates are the first thing to sag when posts aren’t set right or frames aren’t braced. We build and install walk gates and driveway gates with proper hinges, latches, and diagonal bracing so they close cleanly for years.
Statewide scheduling
We serve all parishes across Louisiana. Start with our LA Coverage page, then request an estimate for your city or town.
Post setting that holds
We set posts to match fence type and site conditions, with attention to depth, concrete, and alignment—especially important in wet soil and after heavy rain.
Wind and storm planning
We plan gate placement and fence runs to reduce wind load, use stronger terminal posts where needed, and recommend designs that handle gusts without racking.
Corrosion-resistant hardware
For humid and coastal areas, we recommend galvanized or coated hardware, quality hinges, and latches that keep working season after season.

Fence gates
Gates that open smooth and stay square
Fence gates are where most installs fail—especially in Louisiana’s moisture and shifting ground. We build and hang gates with proper bracing, hinges, and clearances so they don’t drag, bind, or sag.
- Walk gates for everyday access
- Driveway and estate gate options (sliding, rolling, cantilever)
- Hardware upgrades: latches, closers, locks, and keyed entry
- Gate opener kits and automation planning

Fence style FAQs
Quick answers for choosing a fence style and planning gates in Louisiana.
Do I need a permit?
Some cities and HOAs require permits or approvals. We can help you confirm what applies for your address and fence height.
How deep are posts set?
Depth depends on fence type, height, and soil. Louisiana’s wet ground can require extra attention to drainage and stable post setting.
What fence is best for pets?
Chain link is a popular value option, while wood and vinyl provide more privacy. We’ll recommend spacing and height based on your pets.
What gate size do I need?
Walk gates are commonly 3–4 feet. Drive gates vary by driveway width and turning radius. We’ll confirm clearances and swing direction.
Can you add automation later?
Yes—planning for power, posts, and hinge/roller hardware up front makes future automation easier. See gate opener kits.
Do you serve my parish?
Yes. We serve all parishes, cities, and towns across Louisiana. Start on our LA Coverage page.
